Roberto and Claudia Chelo Schletti, the perfect match between Sardinia and Switzerland. We met in the most exclusive European Grand Hotels, where we learned the art of hospitality as well as the best ways of doing catering. During the last 20 years we have treasured our knowledge and put it into practice.
The name we chose for our venture comes from our desire to represent for our guests what a harbor is to a sailor: a good refreshment in a safe haven, a point to be marked on his map.
Since 2019 we are working alongside Mario Nughes who, after starting his apprenticeship more than 20 years ago with us at Il Portolano, trained in excellent hotels and restaurants in French-speaking Switzerland. We treasure his proven experience, kindness and charm, which allow us to guarantee continuity and excellence in the management of our employees.
We have surrounded ourselves with carefully selected and constantly trained staff to offer the level of service we want for our customers. We are proud of the Portolano team for their professionalism, their warmth and their ability to grasp the various needs of guests in the blink of an eye and to satisfy them promptly.
